If you advocated for him getting attacked, it would get you banned. If you said "Social justice violence always ends in jail time and becoming an embarrassing memory for your old friends", you would be reflecting on history just as he and Twitter will claim. However, you will still get banned.

Sounds like someone is advocating for terrorism....

terrorism: the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims

184

My question is how does this not justify the January 6th riots then?

138

something something "not social justice" aka it's (D)ifferent

39

u/Neat-Plantain-7500 Jun 26 '22

Of course it’s different. Jan 6th gave the dems the perfect ammo to use against trump. No national guard, someone opened the doors.

Shit, it was a planned event weeks in the making.

6

u/GeoffreyArnold Jun 26 '22

Of course it’s different (D)ifferent.

FIFY

9

u/HyperScroop Jun 26 '22

That was hardly a riot. That was just people somewhat agressively touring the capital.

It was mostly peaceful for sure if we use any sort of comparison to the BLM riots, so I am really unclear why democrats are so disproportionately offended by jan 6th.

8

u/Collekt 2A Jun 26 '22

They're not offended, they just see an opportunity to use it to benefit themselves.

u/ZodiacSF1969 Jun 26 '22

What's the context you are talking about? I don't follow video games.

8

u/IVIaskerade Monarchist Jun 26 '22

In 2014 it came out that the video games "journalism" scene was incestuous and corrupt, but instead of admitting it and changing for the better, the journalists doubled down and started attacking their core audience. This lead to people looking more closely at them and discovering that the whole thing was rotten.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '22

Incestuous? The problem goes a lot deeper than I thought I guess.

The Carlos Maza tweet about violence being an appropriate response to oppression gives cover to anyone with a desire to riot, destroy property, and harm others. Liberals can find oppression in literally everything.

This mentality makes for a great Pro 2a poster in 2022. Thanks to the SC for tossing NY’s CCW restrictions. They’ll probably need it to protect themselves more than ever.

27

u/Xtorting Conservative Jun 25 '22

Now, if only they ruled that permits to obtain a license were also unconstitutional. But whatever, at least all states have to process them now.

17

u/tcp1 2A/Mug Club Jun 25 '22

NYC can still take a year to process a permit. Nothing is stopping them from that.

6

u/Xtorting Conservative Jun 26 '22

Well then it will be even easier to remove permits if that's the case. Shall not be infringed.

3

u/Sure_Guidance3128 Jun 26 '22

Ohio just went to permitless carry on 6/13/22. CCW permit is now optional.

I personally didn’t say anything about two years ago. But if you want to talk about baseless accusations there is a lot on the left to talk about. Not to mention the fact that the left wanted to dispute Trump’s election and did everything they could to call it illegitimate. Or are you selectively mis-remembering that?

Bad behavior is bad behavior. Whether it was one occasion on 1/6 or the 8+ months of it perpetuated by the left that you all seem to gloss over. It wasn’t conservatives that were destroying cities.

What rules do these ass holes claim they broke. I fucking hate this site

11

u/Comrade_Jacob Jun 25 '22

No idea, not even the mods seem to know. There was no final warning or anything of the sort. However, it was accompanied by several other bans including a subreddit dedicated to the sale of legal of gun parts.

20

u/TheEternal792 Conservative Jun 26 '22

I was banned from TIFU not long ago. I asked the mods why, they straight up told me it was because I was advocating against abortion, then muted me. When the mute wore off 3 days later, I messaged back asking what specific rule I broke. I assume it was a different mod, but someone replied back openly admitting I broke no rules but that they "see no added benefit to restoring [my] posting and commenting privileges on this subreddit" and would not reverse my ban. They openly admitting that I was banned simply for having a different opinion...which would be fine if it were on a sub dedicated to a particular opinion. TIFU is not one of those subs.

The moral of the story is, the rules don't matter to reddit.

10

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '22

It's not even fringe "out there" things that they ban you for anymore, it's for stuff like "sorry, I don't think 1-year-olds should be allowed to choose to have their penises surgically reconstructed into vaginas".

Progressivism is ideological cancer.

SocialJusticeinAction exposed the ideology and behavior of progressivism, just like LibsofTikTok. That's a big, big no no. Exposing progressivism goes so far as to even be considered hate speech... genocide even. And so they had to take action in the only way they know how.

2

u/Syndicate_CASH Jun 26 '22

It’s simple, Reddit is a tool used and controlled by the global left to radicalize its base, particularly Gen Z, they only let us have subs like r/conservative so they can get “recon” on the “fascists” so to speak.

It’s sad, because Reddit started as one of the most free speech friendly platforms, it’s unrecognizable now from what it was 10+ years ago Aaron Swartz is rolling over in his grave.

Social justice is nothing more than the fickle resentments and envy of the mob.

I want to know which suffragette planted bombs

3

u/--MobTowN-- Jun 25 '22

This happened in the 1910s suffrage movement in GB/Ireland. Not even a secret. LMGTFY...

The problem with progressives is that they are so sure of their belief that nothing should stand in the way of what they believe, be it ethics, laws, or judicial rulings. They are so morally just that all opposed should just simply be eliminated through whatever means necessary. They are so gaslighted that they will gladly load the rail cars and and scold everyone who is not happy to join them. I pity them as they are not capable of critical thought. Just my opinion.

I have no clue who this guy is but he sounds like a dirtbag. Typical leftist response. I shouldn’t be surprised by the lefts call to violence, they themselves are okay with causing violence in the womb against babies.

They better stick to destroying their own shitty neighborhoods otherwise this shit could get ugly real quick.

I do have to say, I hate everything Biden stands for and I think he’s a corrupt asshole but I respect that he’s advocating against violent protests, at least for now

1

u/stephschildmon Jun 26 '22

Goddamn. The one time I agree with Joe Biden. Peaceful and patriotic protests. No fires , no riots... But we all know that even if they level an entire city January sixth was worse, apparently.

u/rictor33 Jun 26 '22

Come get violent with me. See how it works out for you.

Just random violence in the name of some cause? An adult thinks that is virtuous? Other adults are supposed to throw tantrums because they’re mad? That’s the real shocker. Angry adults are allowed stomp their feet and break things because it’s called “protesting”.

At the end of the day though, even peaceful protests that are actually peaceful… what’s the point? Have you ever seen any crowd full of random signs stating their views on some issue, and been like, yeah. You know what? Now I don’t feel the way I did 3 minutes ago. Thank you, now I see your point of view and completely leave my own values in the dust. No. No one has ever done that. We only see a mad child trapped in an adult body, that’s just screaming for attention. And when they don’t get it, they get mad and break stuff. Truly a shame.

Twitter is utterly fucking shameless. They're already letting all of this slide, then the next time someone Right of Mao expresses disinterest at the passing of some Leftist icon they'll be shut down. We'll point at these very tweets as examples of the double standard and they'll simply say, "Yeah, so?"

People who talk like this imagine violence as being one way and one sided.

Sounds like insurrection.

0

u/FYOURFEELINGSCHUMP Jun 26 '22

LoL but if we talk about protesting for people who actually subvert the constitution we are treasonous and insurrectionists.

I URGE them to take to the streets and riot. Just hand the senate and house over to the party they hate. What fools.
