How can I preserve this greasy paw-print on a glazed ceramic dish? My dog passed away yesterday. My plan was to use his water bowl as a plant saucer. I just spotted this little foot print and want to keep it intact.

During really heavy rain, water was coming through conduit into utility room, dripping down electrical panel (which seems very dangerous). How can I fix this? Do I call a waterproofing company or electrician? Do I need to find the source outside or can I just seal it in here?

Building a 5x6ft Enclosure for Paralyzed Dog On Top of Carpet

All,

In short i want to build a platform / enclosure for my recently paralyzed dog (25lb). He has recently begun to attempt walking and moving around again and doesn't like staying on the absorbent pads i put him on which are about 36x36in resulting in several accidents on the carpet. This means that while I am working from home he usually is locked in his crate because I can't trust him to stay on the pads or his bed which also has a pad. The space i currently have him in during the day is 6 ft wide by 5 ft deep and bordered fully on 3 sides, a wall on the left, the foot of my bed on the right, and a dresser in back while the front opening faces my desk and the exit of the room. Currently the crate takes up nearly half of that and when he is out of it hes on a 36x36in pad.

I want to repurpose this 5x6ft space so that i can remove the crate and allow him a much larger area for him to chill out and move around during the day while i work from home. Since I can't let an incontinent dog just roam, its hindering his ability to move around and build up his motor skills and muscle without being under direct 100% supervision. I'm hoping this can help him move around and feel more comfortable. Also, to note, doggie diapers arnt an option since they don't have a great fit due to his loss of rear / leg muscles as well as keeping his privates wrapped in moisture. Here is my current idea that i would like some feedback on and advice.

The idea I have is to get a 5x6ft plywood sheet to put down on top of the carpet, cover it in a single piece of vinyl sheet flooring, boarder plywood on the left, right and back sides with 2x4"s and put some sort of baby gate / fence on the front sitting on top of a 1/2 in strip of wood (so no liquid can spill out the front in the case of an accident. From there he would have his bed with an absorbent pad, and just the vinyl flooring he can move about on. (Rough mock up in image)

There's a few challenges I'm trying to work out:

1: What is the best way to join the 2x4s with the vinyl so its as waterproof of a join as possible? I have a few ideas for this. Wrap the entire plywood sheet in the vinyl flooring like a present, the place the 2x4s on top of the vinyl along the perimeter and secure them with wood screws up from the bottom of the plywood. Then paint the 2x4s with waterproof paint and use some sort of calk or stripping like flex seal to waterproof where the floor and siding meet. Option 2 I can think of is to secure the 2x4s to the plywood firat, then lay the vinyl sheet 1/2 in or less vertically up the inside of the 2x4s. Like if you took parchment paper and put it in a pot so you don't get the pot dirty. Then affix a baseboard and further calking cover the gap where it and the flooring meet.

2: Are there other challenges I'm overlooking?

3: Does anyone have any other better ideas?

How can I avoid spraying the upper and lower elements when using oven cleaner?

I guess the first question should be is it harmful to the elements if they get sprayed with oven cleaner?
If yes, then how to avoid spraying them? I will be using Easy-Off fume free.

How to take these blinds down? I’ve loosened the screws almost completely on this side and took them out entirely on the other side, but the blinds aren’t budging at all so I think I’m in the wrong spot.

[Serious Answers Only] How to best remove bear spray from an indoor space??

There was a big spider. I panicked and grabbed the thing closest to me since the spider was getting away. It was bear spray. I only pulled the trigger on it for like a millisecond but now my skin hurts and I can’t stop coughing. The spray didn’t even get near me but it’s spreading all over the house. I’m an idiot I know
