Swifts new training video

20

u/Allemaengel Feb 04 '23

I forget, is it "Swing Wide It's a Fucking Truck" or "Sure, We're Insured For That"?

15

u/HLSparta Feb 04 '23

Stevie Wonder's Institute For Trucking

Sure wish I finished training

5

u/Doses-mimosas Feb 04 '23

Yeah, that'll buff right out.

3

u/etapollo13 Feb 04 '23

About 10 years ago a couple of swift drivers I knew called it "so what, I fucking tried"

3

u/Chaoslord2000 Feb 04 '23

See What I Fucked up Today.

Look at his karma vs age of the account, and you'll know understand why the guy's so angry over such weird things.

-12

u/OddExcuse2183 Feb 04 '23

As someone who's done the job... It's almost always actually an owner op in a shitty old ass truck, or a truck with an ak47 or sword on the cab that's turned over sideways with their load spilled onto the highway. Swift is just a bunch of newbies that those same truckers who kill people and run off the road pick on to make themselves feel better. It was like the second thing that I observed about the dumb ass industry.

It would help to know what your burns even mean. Hell I don't know if you can even communicate.

8

u/Important-Piano-1868 Feb 04 '23

It means you ride dicks

77

u/Pacersfanlife Feb 04 '23

Lots of rage was behind the steering wheel. I'm sure the driver found his way out of a job.

26

u/SilentSamurai Feb 04 '23

"I'm gonna get this god dang sunnofabitch trailer to this goddamn motherfucking dock even if it destroys this piece of shit trailer!!"

21

u/Kewil68 Feb 04 '23

Straight pipes over top of scrapping and grinding sounds a trucker driver’s symphony.

19

u/bubblegum_cloud Feb 04 '23

Woah, how'd you get this clip of me playing American Truck Simulator? :s

21

u/Kingjmasta450 Feb 04 '23

Tis but a scratch

4

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '23

It’ll buff out.

1

u/phoenixthekat Feb 04 '23

It's just a flesh wound

9

u/A100921 Feb 04 '23

He definitely drove it until he was either pulled over, or arrived at his destination…

6

u/Nervous-Brain-5388 Feb 04 '23

The destination was jail.

8

u/BernieTheDachshund Feb 04 '23

When life hands you lemons, just give up.

15

u/Repulsive_Cricket923 Feb 04 '23

Hey boss, I somehow lost my back axel, I'm very sorry!

8

u/ss68and66 Feb 04 '23

Maybe if you back up again?

2

u/wessel1512 Feb 04 '23

I need some SpongeBob keep going you're good. Backtrack with this

6

u/6BakerBaker6 Feb 04 '23

I wonder what this cost?

12

u/fatalplacebo Feb 04 '23

A trailer

4

u/6BakerBaker6 Feb 04 '23

How much does a trailer like this cost?

13

u/fatalplacebo Feb 04 '23 edited Feb 04 '23

Used and low end about $30,000. New can get about $140-$200,000. This one would be a total loss.

4

u/EffrumScufflegrit Feb 04 '23

This one would be a total loss

Nah little bit of tape and she's all good

2

u/Thermostat_Williams Feb 04 '23

They can also be insured but in this case, no way that would work out.

10

u/Oldpuzzlehead Feb 04 '23

Driver must be thinking the wheels will grow back.

7

u/Brantguy99 Feb 04 '23

SWIFT?!?!

-7

u/OddExcuse2183 Feb 04 '23

Do you have eyes?

3

u/pizza9012 Feb 04 '23

This hasn’t been posted a hundred times already?

7

u/wulfftag911 Feb 04 '23

The average walmart truck driver.

7

u/PointToTheSky Feb 04 '23

Average Walmart infrastructure too. Putting concrete pillars in the drive to the truck bay.

5

u/HeatherGreyPlays Feb 04 '23

Who knows if that's actually where the trucks are supposed to go.

3

u/BigCustomer2307 Feb 04 '23

There is a loading dock nearby so I assume yes...

1

u/HeatherGreyPlays Feb 04 '23

True, but a lot of them have one way out so you don't go driving through the parking lot and tear your tandems off on a Mercedes.

2

u/BigCustomer2307 Feb 04 '23

Possible but we also don't know that the truck driver was taking the right exit not defending the truck driver he/she should have stop and taken the MINOR L oh well

1

u/HeatherGreyPlays Feb 04 '23

Nah. Full send every time all the time.

1

u/phoenixthekat Feb 04 '23

Honestly, what could those things be protecting? This event aside, they seem useless if not counter productive

-1

u/OddExcuse2183 Feb 04 '23

Is this a post Tracy Morgan joke?

2

u/MartinG91 Feb 04 '23

Driver be like: ah perfect. Let's go.

2

u/tiberiusyeetus Feb 04 '23

Grind it he did

2

u/Nervous-Brain-5388 Feb 04 '23

I'm guessing that's a stolen truck.

2

u/ben5642 Feb 04 '23

old video

2

u/One-Function166 Feb 04 '23

Driven it like he stole it for real

5

u/roderunner1 Feb 04 '23

Hey bro, you forgot something!! 😂

3

u/lifeisarichcarpet Feb 04 '23

The only way out is through.

4

u/Next-Concentrate5159 Feb 04 '23

Why would you keep going!?!?!? Lololshsywbshahsh

6

u/TurloIsOK Feb 04 '23

Overcame the resistance and really didn't care what it was. The idiot only cared about heading to his destination. At the next turn, the problem would become evident. Although, depending on how methed-up the driver is, it could take awhile for reality to penetrate that thick skull.

2

u/Accomplished_Water34 Feb 04 '23

I think that is not how that's supposed to go.

0

u/I_Wanna_Get_Better1 Feb 04 '23

If I could vote for this twice I would.

-1

u/KingBLUCKslayer Feb 04 '23

I'm almost 100% certain this is a Walmart. I don't expect anything less from people who work there (source I was Walmart employee for 2 years)

-5

u/ronaldreaganlive Feb 04 '23

sElF dRiViNg TrUcKs WiLl RuIn EvErYtHiNg.

4

u/OddExcuse2183 Feb 04 '23

Uh idk how well a self driving truck would perform in most drop yards and stuff.

-1

u/ronaldreaganlive Feb 04 '23

Because this driver operated truck is doing phenomenal with a simple turn?

1

u/OddExcuse2183 Feb 04 '23

Oh hell nah, but idk how you would try program a self driving truck for the turn either. Like there would be no indication for the camera to swing out wide and cut back real sharp to make it out.

1

u/Electrical-Bacon-81 Feb 04 '23

I'm most impressed by the strength & durability of the post. It didnt seem to care at all.

"So, I was just driving down a straight road minding my own business, and out of nowhere all of a sudden, the trailer axles just fall off. You'd have to be there to believe it, I tell ya." -truck driver reporting damage probably.

1

u/Allemaengel Feb 04 '23

I work for a municipality in an area with a lot of major highways and one of the country's largest clusters of warehousing.

The number of stop signs and fire hydrants I see getting mowed down in hit-and-runs is ridiculous.

Plus trees, telephone poles, fences, corners of building, etc.

So running over bollards and leaving trailer drag-assing down the road? Sure, why not? Power through!

1

u/wythawhy Feb 04 '23

I always rewatch this for the dude in the background and his complete dumbfoundedness

1

u/KaJuNator Feb 04 '23

Me playing American Truck Simulator.

1

u/GuitarLute Feb 04 '23

Even Fred Flintstone needed wheels.

1

u/JohnJDumbear Feb 04 '23

East bound and down, loaded up and truckin’

1

u/EleventyB_throws Feb 04 '23

Well he obviously didn't need those back axles. Weight rediction ftw

1

u/MoonbaseSilver Feb 04 '23

Can you spell UNEMPLOYED kids?

1

u/Video-Ordinary Feb 04 '23

Omg!! Was it just the yellow poles and a stupid driver that did all that damage?

1

u/G0lden_Bluhs Feb 04 '23

The truck driver probably loves Jeremy Clarkson. POWEEEERRRRR

1

u/zorkofinfocom Feb 04 '23

They won't give me a junk trailer again! Ever! New career starts at Walmart.

1

u/Whiplash104 Feb 04 '23

What's the problem here? Looks like it worked! /s
