And then back to the first woman crying. It's just too good.

2.8k

u/LuckyPlaze 8d ago

Why was she crying? She wasn’t even hit, just pulled away. One second she is fine, saying “OMG” and the next she drops to the ground and starts sobbing…. WTH is happening?

2.4k

u/MrGrieves- 8d ago

My guess she's embarrassed for getting kicked out.

But because she is a dumbass, as evidenced by her actions, she can't see its more embarrassing to sit on the ground crying like a child instead of leaving.

1.9k

u/zveroshka 8d ago Wholesome

Nah, it's not embarrassment. She's trying to act like a victim.

The sobbing sounded fake to me like she just wanted attention. Sounded way over the top.

243

That was the sound of privilege leaking out.

All these years, she’s gotten away with being a shitty human being. Tonight, she learned that consequences apply to her, too.

It’s a painful realization.

Emotional manipulation

380

u/Vircxzs 8d ago

My ex-wife and I once argued over the phone about something silly. She was crying while talking. Because I was outside, a cop car went by on the way to a call and made the woop woop sound.

Like turning on a dime, my ex's tone immediately became normal/annoyed and she says: "Are you out walking in public right now?" There wasn't even a sniffle to act as a bridge. And then when I said yes, she sighed heavily and then immediately shifted back to her crying tone/speech.

At the time, I didn't think much of it, but in hindsight it's kind of terrifying how quickly she could switch between the two.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn she had NPD. I'm so glad she's no longer in my life.

I actually think it’s a great idea to hire a female bouncer. Particularly in situations like this.

809

u/rr196 8d ago

My friend is a female bouncer and she’s told me a few hilarious stories just like this of having to “escort” drunk women out. Almost jazzy Jeff levels of getting them out.

259

u/ur10ply 7d ago

Worked at a dance club shortly after college, I’d heard the term “thrown out” of a bar. I’ve even been asked to leave establishments, and said “they threw me out.” My first day at the dance club, I watched a grown man get picked up by all fours, his head used as a ram to hit the push bar of the side emergency exit, then physically thrown out of the establishment. It was insane

102

u/badSparkybad 7d ago

Yeah, many times they don't even ask you or anything, if they see you acting rowdy or super fucked up or whatever they'll forego all of the pleasantries and just roll up on you and grab you and throw you the fuck out.

When I was 21 I was super shitfaced at a club, not causing any particular trouble with anyone but I was stumbling around the area by the stage and obviously way too drunk to be there.

The bouncer just came up behind me, arm barred me (didn't hurt me just had control of me) and quickly took me to the door and out to the sidewalk and said "sorry dude you're fucking wasted, come back tomorrow" actually very politely all things considered lol

I just kinda went "awwwww man, alright..." and sat on the curb away from the door til my friends came out. Most bouncers are pretty cool unless you really give them a reason not to be.

43

u/DMENShON 7d ago edited 7d ago

which is an absolute bonkers way of going about things, bouncers get this crazy idea in their head that they can extrajudicially attack people and get away with it

i had a guy working at my local bar who thought he could physically throw someone out of a bar, dude hit his head on the way down and got really hurt, the guy called the cops and lo and behold they arrested the bouncer and he got charged

10

u/snakefinn 7d ago

Glad to hear they were arrested. Alot of bouncers act like wannabe cops, they like to use force and they like to hurt people. Gives an establishment a bad look when the person at the door is a POS

I used to run a nightclub in a major city. All it took was one girl fight for us to realize we needed female bouncers. None of our giant as scary men wanted to get involved. We hired a few and they became our best bouncers.

215

u/TheRxBandito 8d ago

Definitely. I'll bet this exact situation has happened far too many times as well. Most likely why they hired a woman bouncer in the first place.

The woman on the ground having a breakdown because her arm got slightly twisted 🤣

455

u/McClain3000 7d ago

I used to bounce. This is shockingly common. It happens like 60 percent of times you have to physically remove a girl. And they are way more likely to try and hit you because they just don't give a fuck.

I had one girl who I carried outside and set down and she pretended to be paralyzed. Not like knocked out, she was still talking, she just lied on the ground for like 10 min and pretended to not be able to move.

I think being drunk has to do with it too. My wife is like that when we’re out drinking. If the smallest little indiscretion happens when she’s pretty far gone she breaks down in tears.

For example we were walking home after the bars closed and stopped at a park to use the restroom. When she was done she slipped on the handicapped ramp and fell. She wasn’t hurt or anything but immediately broke down into tears. Then I had to babysit and deal with sad her the rest of the night.

I've seen bouncers TKO people before. That shove was nothing.

TKO

Nice that there was a ref to step in and stop the fight. Most times I've seen bouncers KO people.

After watching a video of a guy getting stabbed and goin “I’m dead 😔” and like 50 crazy people getting punched and walking away, it’s weird seeing some one start crying cause they were moved

The girl in the yellow dress… you can tell she’s never been told no, or has had any real “trauma” in her life, to where she responds like that. She looks like an adult toddler in that onesie.

If you ever wonder where the old, racist, shitty Karen’s come from. This is this them 30-40 years earlier.

u/UniSquirrel13 8d ago

The girl should actually be crying that her friends let her out of the house in that outfit

I had worked at a gay bar for several years when I was younger and I still don’t understand why people, who knowingly can’t handle alcohol, will continuously go out every weekend/multiple times a week and act this way. It doesn’t matter if you have a vagina, or a penis, or neither, or both, just treat everyone with respect and things like whatever happened here won’t happen.

Is the “assault” just the bouncer moving that girl in the beginning? Seems like Assault Lite to me

TIL there are women bouncers. I don’t know why I never thought this. It makes perfect sense. If you have some ladies acting a fool, you get the female bouncer to chuck ‘em out. Well done ma’am.

Sobbing on the curb as if you were kicked in the chest, when someone slightly moved you to the side, is peak victim mentality and it engages me.
