We are in the top gaming communities on Reddit. I love to see how the Steam community grows more and more. Meta

Is this a surprise? I thought steam was the biggest PC gaming store

I guess nobody thinks to join steam as there is most likely a subreddit for specific games that they play.

Also there's community in steam itself. So that also maybe a reason.

Calling Steam just a store is doing it a major disservice my dude. It’s a whole ass ecosystem, a lot of which is open source. This in turn allows its users to create their own culture.

Yeah I'm surprised it isn't first place to be honest.

Five Nights at Freddys is more popular than Minecraft?

Possibly due to Security Breach releasing.

Minecraft will probably shoot back up after the Deep Dark Update comes out.

I'm more surprised that after all those years that Skyrim is still pretty popular.

Unpopular opinion but I think skyrim is one of the most overrated games of all time.

We have had this joke going on in the subreddit for about 4 years.

u/Anmasifu Dec 28 '21

That’s a good feedback

12

u/Syncer-Cyde Dec 28 '21

I used to be a mod for r/NintendoSwitch. But fell out of love when I got my PC...

2

u/Magnar0 Dec 28 '21

The surprising thing is how little activity this sub has.

1

u/Busy-Tangerine6706 Dec 28 '21

r/gaming has 31.3 m users
r/ps4 has 4.9 m users
r/NintendoSwitch has 3.5 m users
r/steam is at 1.2 m
That list is more of a suggestion, not a ranking.

u/Ambitious-Boat8165 Dec 28 '21

Didn't ever plan on it but when the next gen consoles became impossible to get without padding the pockets of scalpers, pc seemed like the only real choice.. never looking back now

u/Green_Cat_C Dec 28 '21
