Other Why do men take so long to shit?

This is such a strange phenomenon to me. Every guy I’ve ever known takes a ridiculously long amount of time in the bathroom to take a shit. Women on the other hand, just get it done. I really wanna know why.

Other Why not have sleepovers as adults?

Remember when you were a kid? How fun sleep overs were? Staying up all night, playing games with your friends? Talking until the sun came up and then falling asleep in the living room mid conversation…At what age did you stop doing that? Why? Why does being an adult have to mean losing fun? Specifically innocent fun? Throwing popcorn at each other and laughing till it hurts. Playing board games or card games until you can’t keep your eyes open anymore.

I don’t have kids so I do recognize that I have more flexibility in my personal life then others but having connections and good relationships with your friends should still be important, no?

Other Why do SOME gun owners seem to fantasize about getting their home broken into just so they can shoot/kill a person?

I know this is not every single person that owns a gun, however I have met more than one person who thinks this way. It's like they almost hope that something like this happens to them because the want to kill a human being without consequences. It's one thing to own a gun but it seems like such a red flag to actually want to use it on someone.

Other Is it socially acceptable for me (28M) to go to a Build-A-Bear alone?

I'm a big dude that looks like he would never have a Teddy Bear, and people probably just assume I would be at a Build-A-Bear for nefarious reasons.

I'm really just a softy, and I want to buy my wife a bear while she recovers from surgery. I'm sure I might get some side eyes and stuff, but is it socially okay? I don't want to make anyone too uncomfortable.

Other Why do I always wanna add much more garlic than a recipe calls for?

Whenever I make a recipe, it’ll usually say something like “2 cloves of garlic,” and then I end up using way more garlic because it just tastes better; apparently a ton of other people do this, and I was wondering why that is.

Other Do Tall People Ever Ask Short People to Get Something Close to the Ground?

Edit: Its funny I feel like some tall people were slightly offended at this lol

I’m a shorty (5’). I honestly wouldn’t mind picking up something for really tall people. And I appreciate when I get help with high things.

Other Anyone get sad when no one asks about a bandaid you have on?

I got a lil cut on my finger and put a bandaid on it. My lady and mom didn’t notice. I waited for them to notice. Maybe they did. I’m a grown man but it still bothers me on a superficial level 🤷

Thank you to those that understand what I’m saying. To those that believe I’m not a man because I expressed such a minor emotion, eat a bowl of ducks and go hug someone. And to those that don’t put bandaids on their wounds, you should at the very least cover up an open wound. Just got the sake of being clean.

Other What do you do when someone knocks at 1:30 AM?

Its 1:30AM on a weekday where I am. Its my off day so I'm up late using my computer in the room next to my front door. I heard a quiet knock that didnt even alert my dogs in the other room. They even pulled on the door a little but everything is locked. All I heard was knock, knock, tug, knock, knock. I froze up for a moment but then started talking like "Hello? Who the fuck? What?" pretty loud and walking heavy to make noise. I didnt see anyone though. Whoever did it just knocked, tugged, knocked and left, it was all quick. After a few mins I checked again and could see 1 guy walking on the far side of the road. He wasnt lingering, seemed to be walking with purpose so I dont think it was him. I got some dog treats and made my dogs bark to make more noise. I'm usually asleep by 11pm, I'd have never heard it if I wasnt awake near the door. Were they testing handles for easy targets maybe? A few of my windows are cracked, they're not strong and might be tempting a crackhead too much :c But from the outside my office curtains let light through so someone at my door whould see I have lights on & the shadow of me moving around.

I'm a scrawny, young, woman living alone in a bad part of a poverty stricken rural town and I just realized my hunting rifle is at my mom's so I'm unarmed. I am spooked, panik, what do... Its 2AM now and I'm tired but I dont think I can sleep now even if you told me I hallucinated ;-;

Edit: OP is alive. I completely blanked about police until 2 hours after the fact then my brain was convinced its too late and you'll just make them mad for bothering them because yay overthinking... Kept my office light on, turned the TV up pretty loud and turned on a light in the room at my backdoor. While walking my dogs I checked the front of the house. My mailbox flap was closed and its never closed. There is a chance there was never a person and it was a strong wind smacking my mailbox around & my door getting pushed against its jamb. Hallelujah that was scary :c
