So sorry, I'm broke so I can only pay you $77 for my food. You were great though.

I use to make $30 an hour waiting tables…y’all are literally trying to get us paid less crying about this.

Get off that mindset that it’s the public who need to stump up extra. It’s not us that should be boosting you to $30/hr. You should be getting a decent pay from your employer, not the generosity of strangers.

It’s not generosity, they literally served you with the understanding that you would pay them based on how good their service was. Maybe get off that broke mindset and stop complaining about having to pay people for their work.

No they served the customer ,it is in their job description. They should be doing the job they were hired to do .The customer came into the eatery wanting a nice meal and to relax and enjoy that meal.A tip is a gratuity and nothing more.

Maybe in your country…here it is the wage. Im sorry you can’t grasp that

It is not the wage at all.It is a crooked and broken system that needs to be fixed .Servers complain they don't get the highest tips possible and people complain that the server's are dogging them and wanting more and more.
