your friend's already seen it and doesn't want to embarrass you by pointing out how lame and slow you are

My brother constantly tells me to watch a whole episode his favorite anime shows or shows me like a 10+ minute video of his favorite youtubers, but the moment I tell him "hey I want you to watch this 40-second video" he's all like "ughhhh why is it so long" or "no"
I swear to god it's annoying as shit

I swear there are so many people who dont realise reddit is the place for memes not instagram.

u/Grut0l Jan 26 '22
Instagram memes are either stolen from reddit or terrible, all my friends use Instagram...

Waiting for their reaction to the funny part, but their facial expression doesn't change

I'd rather have a friend that says "I'm not going to watch that" than someone who lies about it
1
u/scioto133 Jan 26 '22
That’s what I do lol, Im pretty straight forward lmao

u/NudesForHighFive Jan 26 '22
Wide open communication/honesty definitely does come off as rude sometimes, but I think it's overall better for both people to take this approach. So, so many issues in my life could've become easier or gone away completely if I was more straightforward with what I was feeling. It's a very useful trait to have/build upon

Ngl when someone sends me a video link, there’s probably a 100% chance I’m never going to click on it

u/Alec_NonServiam Jan 27 '22

So many shitty people in this thread. If a friend sends me a 3 minute video so I can enjoy it too I watch it. It's such a simple thing to do to make your friend happier

I'll speak on behalf of that friend. Don't send me none of your memes because either I've seen it or I'm not interested because if I were interested than I would have seen it before you. I barely have enough energy to get through the day let alone fake react to your shit tier week old meme or some bullshit video that I don't give a flying fuck about. Sincerely and with love - that friend <3

Why do you send a 3 minute video that's too long
