He waved, it's all good.

It’s amazing how quickly a wave from an offending vehicle can change my mood for the better

Yeah, at :22 I saw the wave that meant yeah man I'm sorry that I totally just fucked up.

It looks like he was serving to avoid a car that merged into him. It's scary how quickly some rando's carelessness can spiral

From what on ramp?

At 0:03 seconds you can see a car coming down the on-ramp a little in front of the semi. At 0:07 seconds the cammer reaches that ramp.

The merging car isn't visible, but I'm guessing he panicked while merging and slowed down, forcing the semi to swerve around him.

I don't think so. I waited for the car to show up after the cam guy passes the truck and he never does.

Edit: nevermind, it's there. Thanks /u/precocious_necrosis for clarifying.

That's because the merging car was going slower than the semi. He fell behind, out of the camera's line of sight. The merging car is visible at 0:03, and can't be seen on camera at any point after that, so this is the only explanation.

Thank you for the clarification. You have great eyes.
I zoomed in and saw it.

I was literally thinking... man that looks like 10 downtown

u/thisismyusernamether Jan 15 '23

Close! 35 south, though I think it was the i10 interchange, I can’t remember, I drive through two big interchanges on my way to work

There is another lower deck on 35 south too I think just south of where they split. Probably that since I don't recognize the grass patch from the 10 section I'm more familiar with

Edit: think I just found it at 35/10 and S Alamo

Not like you’re in the wrong, but it’s safer practice to avoid passing trucks when there’s no escape route.

That'll do it.
