Isnt it W = F * deltaX (deltaX = distance) and F being with second law of newton: F*a which means it would be W = F * a * deltaX

For me W is like Work = Force * distance

It's just the variable we use for slope. The variable itself doesn't matter, but I guess mathematicians had to come up in agreement on a variable and decided to choose m for standard graphing.

How can you even be this confident? You're not a god. You're a human like the rest of us. There has never been a survey about this. We have 8 billion people on earth.

Like even if you want to somehow estimate; people have worked with Newton's second law in school. For Mass-Energy equivalence you either have to actually study the course in university or hear from it in different forms of media in which, still, is the case for Newton's second law as well.

No, F = ma is Newton's second law. Whereas "a" is considered constant acceleration and "g" is considered free fall acceleration. So F=mg is the formula of the force acting on a freely falling body under the conditions of the earth's gravity. So F=ma is a more general formula.

Physicist here. I've never seen W=mg but I have see both G=mg and F=ma. We never really talk about weight (just forces and masses) and W is more often than not reserved for work.

No it's not. It's only 10 times the mass if you're using units such that g=10. On Earth, using SI units, you get quite close, but to say that weight is 10 times the mass is still wrong. It's simply the force between two masses.

Nah it's the proper term. Weight is a force caused by gravity. Mass of an object x 9.81 gives the downwards force (weight). 9.81 is the acceleration of any falling object in a vacuum.

g stands for the sum of gravitational acceleration and the centrifugal acceleration feom earth rotation. The equation gives N as a unit of W vie dimensional analisis, no matter how you look at it. Tho it is possible that some other, equivalent unit is standartly used for this, I wouldnt know
