They’re saying he was singled out amongst all the other douchebag crooks just like him that have often done the same horrible things on a grander scale because he’s not important enough to get the protection.

He was literally in the damn club what are you talking about?

He got kicked out of the club because turns out being evil AND pompous is a bridge too far

Shkrelli was a little fish. He was not one of them. Just big enough to warrant attention, not big enough to have real influence where it mattered. Yes, being pompous helped put the target there, but nothing the original commenter you replied to said was wrong. If you think the only thing stopping the government from going after the major players on Wall Street is their attitude, I don’t know what to tell you. Seems pretty pompous to me anyways to just keep on doing business as usual after being dragged into Congress and dressed down or having to pay out large settlements, but they don’t put see jail time.

Well we can agree on one thing, he is a "little" fish. Guy can't be more than 5'8"

And the people here who are caught up with the systemic problems-- I agree.

There are issues and we should filet all the bastards starting with Shkreli (figuratively speaking).

He was so rich and all he had to do was stick to his business, now he's public enemy number 1
