Hello, I want to inquire about working as uber driver in Poznan, Poland.
Does anyone know if I have the Canadian driving licence with the international driving permit, would I be able to sign up for uber driver account and be legally able to drive there?

I inherited a condo in Krakow. I live in the USA. Before I decide what to do with it, I understand there was a registered letter with the property tax payment request. Of course no one but me can sign for it/receive it. I want to pay the tax, but I need to know how much and where to send it. Any suggestions?
So my partner (f/polish) and I have plans to get married and she’s dropped the whole “I would like you to learn polish, so we can speak to my family and our children in it”.
Thing is, I’ve given it about a week looking into the language and I get the feeling it’s never going to stick so I’ll be wasting my time.
I’m a native English speaker so that doesn’t particularly help. My family have always spoken numerous languages ranging from Greek to Arabic (long story) but I’ve always been resistant to learning in favour of learning other things (music, sporting activities that I compete in).
What would be the best situation / compromise here, considering it will be impossible for me to learn this language? How can I get her off my back about it? 😅
Long time lurker and first time poster in this sub. I recently moved for work and love to Poland from the UK and am looking to make some connections here to aid both the adjustment and in improving my language skills.
I was wondering if there may be any fellow sim racers in the Katowice area (or Poland more broadly) interested in taking part in endurance events (I tend to use AC, ACC mainly), shorter races, or simply connecting over a shared niche hobby?
I am from Romania and will go to Gdynia to see Kendrick Lamar. I just want to know how i could get an autograph from him if I could. Thats it.
Unfortunately the article is in Polish, but the message is that Poles are tolerant to foreigners (especially if they are white and from a similar culture), or they are not bothered if they would have a gay/lesbian family member.
What is your opinion on that? How tolerant in your opinion Poles are?
I’m looking to plan a wedding either in Zakopane or Krakow and am wondering if anyone on here has done this or knows of any wedding planners or venues? Thank you !
So I meeting my gf in Poland, she's from Ukraine, and I'm going to bring some snacks for her to try. Im taking jolly ranchers, cheezits, gardettos, some Chile and lime lays chips and some cooler ranch Doritos chips. That is unless those things are sold in Poland. O yeah she did say peanut butter, I'll see about jif. But yeah what kind of things aren't prevalent in stores in Poland as far as snacks. Suggestions would be great! And I'm flying from the US.
I’m a music student in the US, my teacher is Polish. For my Master’s recital, I’d like to arrange something Polish for him. It would be for a jazz trio. Looking for recommendations!
I’m going on a school trip to Poland, I will stay at another exchange students house, I will be staying for 5 days. Iwas told to prepare for ~0-5 degrees weather.

A local fiesta in a Philippine City. As red and white seperate colors are using, after years of confusion they finally combined it to become Polish flags. 🇵🇱
Hello I pick up this pin from a street vendor along my travels through Europe. I got this in the Zamosc. I was wondering what it means and where it’s from. Cold War looks like or before?
